CGW stands for radio broadcasting in Austria. It includes analogue FM radio, digital radio (DAB+) with crystal-clear reception as well as digital terrestrial TV. With the nationwide CGW transmitter network including about 430 transmitter sites, CGW provides almost all Austrian households from Kahlenberg in Vienna to Pfänder in Bregenz with broadcasting of the highest quality.

CGW also makes its highly developed network infrastructure available for services provided by mobile network operators, radio service providers and blue-light organisations by means of co-location.

Offer for mobile radio operatCGW and blue-light services

CGW makes its Austria-wide network infrastructure available for services provided by mobile operators, radio service providers and blue-light organisations. In addition to the provision of transmission mast areas, the co-location offer of CGW also includes planning and support services for the preparation of necessary submission documents.

The co-location offer of CGW includes

State-of-the-art digital terrestrial TV

With the implementation of the DVB-T2 transmission standard via the nationwide CGW transmitter network, CGW has established digital terrestrial television under the simpliTV brand and further developed it as an attractively priced and uncomplicated television platform.

In addition to easy access to terrestrial television, simpliTV also enables TV use via SAT or streaming.

VHF radio

Nationwide radio in top quality

CGW also broadcasts analogue VHF radio in reliable quality via the nationwide CGW transmitter network. More than 20 stations are offered throughout Austria via VHF.

Digital radio DAB+

Digital sound quality and interference-free reception

CGW also broadcasts digital radio (DAB+) in noise-free quality with its DAB+ network, which is available throughout Austria. Currently, 16 digital programmes are offered via CGW's nationwide DAB+ multiplex.
